A sad story of a sad man.
On Sunday evening two men ( met) in a London pub. One of the men (was) very unhappy.
“Life’s terrible. Everything in the world (is) really boring.”
“Don’t say that” – said one of the men.” Life (is) marvellous! The world (is) so exciting! Think about Italy. It’s a wonderful country. (have) you ( been) there?”
“Oh, yes. I ( went) there last year and I ( didn’t like) it.
